Clean the feeder scanning area.
1. Open the feeder.
2. Clean the feeder scanning area with a cloth which
is wrung after being dampened in water or a mild
detergent, and then wipe the area with a soft dry cloth.

Clean the roller and the surrounding area.

1. Turn the roller while turning the feed dial.
2. Clean the area while turning the roller.
3. Close the feeder.
When closing the feeder, be careful not to get your
fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury.
