Sensor

The sensor helps you to monitor your garage door, in-house door,
window, medicine cabinet, or an area around your house. This
keeps you notified if the monitored object is open or closed, or
someone has accessed an area that is off-limits.
When any of the monitored garage door,
in-house door, window, or medicine
cabinet opens, or when there is motion
in the monitored area, the sensor sends
an alert to your telephone. Both the base
and handsets announce and display alert
messages.
The telephone system has a sensor log. It
stores the latest 50 alert messages from all
sensors. You can review when and which
sensor was triggered. You can also use
the individual sensor's menu to check the
current sensor status and sensor log.
You can choose to receive alert calls at other telephones. Store up
to three desired telephone numbers, for example your cell phone
number and office phone number, into the telephone base. You will
be notified even when you are away from home. When you receive
the remote alert call from the telephone base, you can choose
to listen to the sound in your house; or you can choose to speak
through the telephone base to the visitor or intruder.
Follow the instructions in this section to turn on or off the sensor
alert system and change sensor mode; or to set sensor alert
schedule, test the sensor signal strength, rename the sensor, reset
sensor alerts, and review sensor logs.
NOTE
When there are more than four handsets registered, the telephone system
supports sensor alerts for the first four registered handsets only.
