Replacing the VESA mount bracket
Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
Note: If your computer comes with a VESA mount bracket, do not install a dust shield.
To replace the VESA mount bracket, do the following:
1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect
all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.
2. If the power adapter bracket is available, remove the power adapter bracket. See "Replacing the
power adapter bracket" on page 85.
3. Remove the two screws that secure the VESA mount bracket to the computer.
