1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the access panel
3. Remove the memory modules
4. Remove the hard drive
5. Remove the drive cage
6. Remove the WLAN module
7. Remove the fan
8. Remove the heat sink
9. Disconnect all cables from the system board, noting their location for reinstallation.
10. Remove the four Torx screws (1) that secure the system board to the computer.
