Checking the fuses
Plug-in fuses:
Remove the plug-in fuses (1). By visual
inspection, check whether the wire (2) in
the plastic is damaged (burnt through).
Replace the fuse if the wire (2) is
damaged.

Main fuse:
Open the cover (1).
By visual inspection, check whether wire
(2) is damaged (blown). If the wire is
damaged, fuse (3) must be replaced by a
specialist dealer.
VIKING recommends VIKING specialist
dealers.
● Close the cover.
● Install the steering column cover.

13.18 Battery

Risk of injury:
When disconnecting the battery,
always remove the black negative
(–) cable first and only then, the red
positive (+) cable.
When connecting the battery,
always connect the red positive (+)
cable first.
The battery is maintenance free
and must only be replaced if it is
damaged and must be removed in
the case of prolonged
immobilisation (e.g. winter break).
Remove battery before disposing of
the machine.
Do not dispose of the battery with
domestic waste, but hand it in to a
specialist dealer or at a hazardous
waste collection point.
