Operation
COOL
The indications of setting temperature, fan speed and air flow
angle are turned OFF.
5.2 OPERATION MODE (COOLING, HEATING, DRY, AUTOMATIC COOLING/HEATING AND
FAN OPERATION)
Function
Cooling operation (COOL): to decrease the room tempera-
ture.
Heating operation (HEAT): to increase the room temperature.
Dry operation (DRY): to decrease the humidity in the room.
Automatic cooling/heating operation (AUTO): to cooling and
heating automatic changeover.
Fan operation (FAN): to circulate the air in the room.
5.3 SETTING METHOD
N O T E
To adjust the air flow angle, refer to the installation and operation
manual of indoor unit.
Temperature setting
Point the transmitter towards the receiver kit and press "TEMP."
switch to set the temperature.
By pressing "
", the temperature is increased by 1ºC.
By pressing "
", the temperature is decreased by 1ºC.
COOL
The set temperature is set to 28ºC
in the cooling operation
N O T E
The temperature is not displayed during the stoppage. In the
case that the temperature is set during the stoppage, the tem-
perature indication is turned ON temporally. It is automatically
turned OFF after setting.
The temperature can be set for each operation mode.
The setting temperature is available from 17ºC to 30ºC by
the wireless remote control switch. However, for indoor unit
which setting temperature range is 19~30ºC, the temperature
settings of 17ºC and 18ºC are not available.

N O T E
After the heating operation is stopped, the fan mode may be ope-
rated for approximately 2 minutes.

The recommendable set temperature is as follows;

Fan Speed
Point the transmitter towards the receiver kit and press "FAN"
switch to set the fan speed.
COOL
The fan speed is set to "Hi"
in the cooling operation.
By repeatedly pressing the switch, the setting will change se-
quentially through HIGH 2, HIGH, MED and LOW.
N O T E
The fan speed is not displayed during the stoppage. In the
case that the fan speed is set during the stoppage, the fan
speed indication is turned ON temporally. It is automatically
turned OFF after setting.
The fan speed can be set for each operation mode. However,
the fan speed will be fixed at "LOW" in dry operation.
