Release the handle by placing
foot on the nozzle and pulling
back and down on the handle
with your hand.

Beater Bar: AUTO OFF
This model is fitted with an auto beater bar stop.
While operating the vacuum cleaner in the CARPET
position, the beater bar will automatically stop rotating
when vacuum cleaner is in the upright (locked) position for
storage or tool use.
MC-UL426:

body release pedal with your foot and
pulling back and down on the handle with
your hand.
