4-6 METER ADJUSTMENT

ADJUSTMENT ADJUSTMENT CONDITION
ENTERING • Enter the adjustment mode:

ADJUSTMENT q Turn power OFF.
w Terminate the [REMOTE] jack
MODE
with a 3.5(d) mm mini-plug.
e While pushing [SSB] and
[CW/RTTY], turn power ON.
CAUTION:
NEVER
matically transmits when transmit item in the [F-2 (TX)] is selected.
METER 1 • Push [F-1 (METER)] to enter the
SCALE meter scale adjustment.

DISPLAY
ADJUST MODE Push [F-1 (METER)], [F-2 (TX)] or [F-3 (RX)] to
select each adjustment mode.
Once enterring adjustment mode, use [F-1 ( )]
to skip items, or [F-2 (EXIT)] to return the open-
ing display.
Set the analog meter to S1 position using [MAIN

DIAL]. Then push [F-5 (SET)] to store the "S1"

meter into memory, and to step next.
Set the analog meter to S3 position using [MAIN

Set the analog meter to S9+40 position using

OPERATION
