As physical camera interfaces may differ from camera system to camera
system, SmartDisc is equipped with an RS-232 as well as an RS-485
interface. This avoids additional costs and reduces installation and wiring
requirements.
The following diagram shows the system described above:

Camera system data lines (e.g. Dome) are connected with terminals TxD, RxD
and GND (see "28 / 34 pin terminal block" on page 20). Please note that only
one camera can be connected when using interface RS-232, for technical
reasons.

D+.

controllable cameras can be operated at the RS-485 interface with the same
data protocol with SmartDisc
