Dispose of used motor and pump oil in a manner that is compatible with the
environment and in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Take used oil in a sealed container to your local recycling center or service
station for reclamation.
• Do NOT throw it in the trash, pour it on the ground, or pour it down the drain.
No Modifications. Never modify or alter the generator in any way. Modifications can create serious
safety hazards and will also void the warranty.

Engine Maintenance

Perform engine maintenance as specified in the engine owner's manual. Items include:
Change oil after the first 5 operating hours, and at least every 100 hours of use after that. Please
refer to the engine owner's manual for details.
Never open oil port while generator is running. Hot oil can spray over face and body.
Air filter check/replacement.
Spark plug cleaning/replacement.
Fuel filter check/replacement.
Fuel tank cleaning.
Inspect and clean spark arrestor as needed.
Read and follow any required emissions control system inspections and maintenance
procedures.
