2. Fuel tank cap

Fuel tank cap
This cap seals the fuel tank. When removed,
the tank can be filled with fuel. To remove the
cap, turn it counterclockwise.
Air vent screw
This screw is on the fuel tank cap. To loosen
the screw, turn it counterclockwise.

Fuel cock

The fuel cock turns on and off the supply of
fuel from the fuel tank to the engine.
1. Fuel cock
Close
To stop fuel flow to the engine, turn the lever
or knob to close position.
Always turn the lever or knob to close position
when the engine is not running.
Basic components
1. Close position
Open
With the lever/knob in this position, fuel flows
to the carburetor.
Normal running is done with the lever/knob in
this position.
1. Open position

Tiller handle

To change direction, move the tiller handle to
the left or right as necessary.
