SPeAKer diSt
The SPEAKER DIST menu allows you to specify the
distance of each speaker from the listening position, in
feet or metres. The SP33 4KVM will then add delays to
each channel to ensure that the sound from each speaker
reaches the listener at the same time.
You can also add an extra delay to the surround speakers
to make the sound more spacious.
Use the A and V buttons on the remote control to
adjust the distance or delay.
In GENERAL mode you can adjust the distance between
0 and 20 feet (0 and 6m). Setting DISTANCE UNITS to
MS shows the calculated delays and allows you to adjust
them directly.
Note: Experimenting with adjusting both speaker
gain and delay settings by ear to best suit the specific
system installation can result in subtly improved system
performance.
