To shoot without flash even in lighting conditions
where the camera would automatically fire the flash:
1 Press the flash mode button until the" ® "
(flash-cancel indicator) appears in the LCD panel
2 Take the picture.
Note: The shutter locks it the camera is closer than
approx. 0.7m (2.3 ft) from the subject. Keep the
camera at least 0.7m (2.3 ft) away from the subject.
