Introduction
Welcome!
Thank you for adding the VOX StompLab I B Modeling Bass
Guitar Effect Processor to your rig. Whether you're playing live,
in the studio, or practicing with headphones, the StompLab will
give you countless hours of great sounds!
To ensure a long and trouble-free relationship with your StompLab,
please read this manual carefully. When you've finished reading
this manual, please keep it for future reference.

Main features

q 60 different modeling effect variations are built-in, and you
can use up to seven different effects simultaneously (including
noise reduction).
q Use these modeling effects to create your own sounds and
store them in internal memory as one of 20 user programs.
In addition, 100 more programs are provided as presets for
immediate use.
q A built-in auto chromatic tuner lets you tune while bypassed
or muted.

This section explains the buttons and connectors on the
StompLab I B's front and rear panels.

1. CATEGORY selector
In Program select mode, use this to select the program genre and
to recall the selected genre of the program.
In Edit mode, use this to select the effect that will be edited.
Also, you can save the settings of an edited effect in a program
when [WRITE] is selected with the selector.
2. VALUE 1 knob
In Program select mode, use this knob to adjust the limiter
sensitivity or amplifier gain (AMP/DRIVE). When making this
adjustment, the program/value display will indicate the sensitivity
or gain value and the EDIT LED and Tuner center LED will blink.
In Edit mode, use this knob to set the first parameter of an effect.
Also, when saving a program, use this knob to select the program
