If the target radio does not respond after a
preprogrammed period of time, the display
shows Send page?.
d) To send the call alert page, press the Menu
Select button directly below Yes. To exit the
screen without sending the call alert page,
press the Menu Select button directly below
No.
The display shows Paging...<Alias>.
If the call alert page is sent successfully, you
hear a tone and the display shows Ack
received. The radio returns to the Home
screen.
If the call alert page is not acknowledged, you
hear a low tone and the display shows No
acknowledge. Press the Menu Select button
directly below Ok to return to the main screen of
Contacts.

Emergency Operation

The Emergency feature is used to indicate a critical
situation.

If the Top (Orange) button is preprogrammed to send
an emergency signal, this signal overrides any other
communication over the selected channel.
Your radio supports the following Emergency modes:
Emergency Alarm
Emergency Call (Trunking Only)
Emergency Alarm with Emergency Call
Silent Emergency Alarm
Check with your dealer or system administrator for
more information on the programming of this feature.
Each channel can only assigned one of the
Emergency modes above. The radio responds
differently when pressing the preprogrammed
Emergency button in each channel.
Note: To exit emergency at any time, press and hold
the preprogrammed Emergency button for about a
second.
The radio operates in the normal dispatch manner
while in Emergency Call, except if enabled, it returns
to one of the following:
