vi. Snapshot Settings
Snapshot enables users to create a copy of disk volume as backup source.
The creation of snapshot will not modify the disk volume while any changes
made to the disk volume will not affect any formerly taken snapshots.
Basic Snapshot Settings
To activate or disable a snapshot, go to Snapshot Settings of Disk
Configuration and click Basic. Enable snapshot support of the disk volume
before creating a snapshot.
To enable snapshot support for one or more volumes, select the item(s),
assign Repository Ratio and Maximum Count values and then click OK.
To disable snapshot support, unselect the item(s) and click OK. To undo
the changes, click Cancel and refresh the page.
Note:
1.
To change Repository Ratio or Maximum Count of volume, disable its
snapshot support, click OK, and enable it again.
2.
Disabling the snapshot support will automatically remove all snapshots
on the volume.
