3. Apple Network
To use FNS-7000A on Apple MAC operating system, enable AppleTalk network
support.
If your AppleTalk network uses extended networks, and is assigned with
multiple zones, assign a zone name to FNS-7000A. If you do not want to
assign a network zone, enter an asterisk (*) to use the default setting.
4. NFS Service
To use FNS-7000A on Unix/ Linux operating system computer or server,
enable NFS service. FNS-7000A supports NFS version 2.0 and 3.0. To
correctly use NFS service, assign a user's UID and IP address. Go to NFS
Settings in Users of User Management for setup. When you have completed
the configuration, login the system as root and use mount command to
connect to the network. You can then login with other identities and access
FNS-7000A using previous NFS settings.
