Setup
Important: Remove and discard the protective
plastic sheet that covers the engine.

1. Unfolding the Handle

Folding or unfolding the handle improperly can
damage the cables, causing an unsafe operating
condition.
•
Do not damage the cables when folding or
unfolding the handle.
•
If a cable is damaged, contact an Authorized
Service Dealer.
1. Install the blade control bar into the upper handle
(Figure 3).

2. Remove the upper handle knobs and bolts from the
loose parts bag.
3. Carefully move the upper handle forward and place the
ends over the lower handle so they are in line and nest
together (Figure 4).

4. Install the bolts and upper handle knobs with the knobs
on the outside of the handle, tightening the knobs as
tight as you can (Figure 5).

5. Rotate the handle rearward (Figure 6).

6. Attach the handle brackets (Figure 7) to the lower
handle sides.
