BOUT UIDE This guide gives specific information on how to operate URPOSE and use the management functions of the switch. The guide is intended for use by network administrators who UDIENCE are responsible for operating and maintaining network equipment; consequently, it assumes a basic working knowledge of general switch functions, the Internet Protocol (IP), and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

If a user has enough privileges to run a particular command, the user has to run the command in the correct mode. To see the commands of the mode, input “?” after the system prompt, then all commands will be listed in the screen.
