1. To start the engine, read the Operator's
Manual—(1) Park the machine on a
level surface (2) Fill the engine with oil
(3) Move the control bars to a neutral
position (4) Start the engine.
1. Warning—read the Operator's Manual. Do not operate this
machine unless you are trained. Wear hearing protection.
2. Warning—disengage the tines and stop the engine before
leaving the operator's position.
3. Thrown object hazard—pick up objects before operating.

2. Traction drive—move the traction
control lever forward to move the
machine forward; move the traction
control lever backward to move the
machine backward.

4. Warning—stay away from moving parts; keep all guards in
place. Stop the engine and remove the spark plug before
adjusting, servicing, or cleaning.
5. Warning—do not operate when people and pets are in the
area. Look behind you when backing up.

3. Raising/Lowering the tines—push the
control lever down to lower the tines;
pull the control lever up to raise the
tines.
