pedal, press the clutch pedal, then press the brake pedal.

Shutting Off the Engine

To shut off the engine, rotate the ignition key to the O

Breaking in a New Machine

To provide proper performance and long machine life, follow
these guidelines for the first 100 operating hours.
Check the fluid and engine-oil levels regularly and be alert
for indications of overheating in any component of the
machine.
After starting a cold engine, let it warm up for about 15
seconds before shifting into gear.
Avoid racing the engine.
To ensure optimum performance of the brake system,
burnish (break-in) the brakes before use. To burnish the
brakes, bring the vehicle up to full speed, apply the brakes
to rapidly stop the vehicle without locking up the tires.
Repeat this 10 times, waiting 1 minute between stops to
avoid overheating the brakes. This is most effective if the
machine is loaded with 454 kg (1,000 lb).
Vary the machine speed during operation. Avoid excessive
idling. Avoid fast starts and quick stops.
A break–in oil for the engine is not required. The
original engine oil is the same type specified for regular
oil changes.
