2. Measure here—should be 2.3 mm (0.09 inch) larger than
the measurement at 1
2. Measure from the same part of the rim on the top and
bottom of the tire to the square (Figure 32).
Note: The distance of the bottom measurement
should be 2.3 mm (0.09 inch) larger than the top
measurement. Complete the measurement on both
front tires before adjusting.
Complete the following procedure for each tire that
needs adjusting:
3. Using tool TORO 6010, rotate the collar on the shock
absorber to change the length of the spring (Figure 33).
If the bottom measurement was too short, reduce
the length of the spring.
If the bottom measurement was too long, increase
the length of the spring.

4. On a level surface, roll the machine straight back 2 to 3
m (6 to 10 ft) and then straight forward to the original
starting position.
5. Repeat this procedure, starting with step 1 until the
camber is set correctly for both front wheels.
6. Measure the distance between both of the front tires at
the axle height at both the front and rear of the front
tires (Figure 34).

7. If the measurement does not fall within 0 to 6 mm (0
to 1/4 inch), loosen the jam nuts at both ends of the
tie rods (Figure 35).
