Making Calls

Your phone offers multiple ways to make calls:
Use the Phone Keypad to enter the phone number or
speed dial.
Call a contact from Contacts.
Call a contact from Favorites.
Return a call, or call a recent caller, from Recent calls.
Voice dial using S Voice.
Making a Call Using the Phone Keypad
1. Touch
Phone.
2. Touch the digits of the telephone number on the
Keypad.
Tip: To correct a mis-typed entry when dialing, touch
erase a single character or touch and hold
the entire string of numbers.
3. Touch
Call to make the call.
Making Calls from Contacts
A contact is an entry that you have created to store the
name, phone numbers, and other information for people or
groups of interest.
For more information, see "Contacts" on page 37.

2. Touch a contact to display it, and then touch
the default number.
Tip: You can swipe your finger from left to right across the
contact record to dial the contact's default number.
Making Calls Using Favorites
Favorites are contacts that you designate as favorites by
