TERROR BASS 500 COMBO

REAR PANEL FEATURES

IMPEDANCE SELECTOR SWITCH
Connect the amplifier to a speaker cabinet of the correct impedance:
o Make sure the impedance selector switch is switched to 8 Ohms when using an 8
Ohm bass speaker cabinet (eg. The internal combo speakers)
o Make sure the impedance selector switch is switched to 4 Ohms when using either
one 4 Ohm bass speaker cabinet or two 8 Ohm cabinets (e.g. Internal combo
speaker and another 8 Ohm cabinet.)
IMPORTANT! The Terror Bass Series produces maximum output power into both 4 and 8
Ohm loads. For this reason, it is important a speaker cabinet(s) of suitable power handling is
connected to the amp. Failure to do so may cause damage to both the amp and cabinet(s).
DI OUTPUT
The DI output is set at professional line level for a padded mixing desk to a PA. An external
DI box should still be taken from the actual bass guitar itself in most live situations so that a
signal can still be present in case of amplifier failure ). IMPORTANT: A speaker cabinet of
suitable impedance and power handling must be connected to the amplifier's speaker
outputs even when the DI Output is in use.
GROUND LIFT BUTTON
Engage this button if ground hum becomes a problem when hooked up to external
equipment.
EFFECTS LOOP SEND AND RETURN JACK SOCKETS
The effects loop, send and return jack sockets are intended for use with outboard rack
equipment. Most pedals will be better suited placed before the input of the amplifier.
