Messages Displayed When You Use the Copy/Document Server Function
Causes
A paper or staple jam has
occurred on the sub-
machine, or toner or other
supplies need to be
replaced.
The sub-machine's User
Tools menu is open.
The sub-machine has
stopped due to power
failure or communication
error.
Sort has not been selected
with fold.
Stamp data on the sub-
machine has been deleted.
Paper type or tray settings
on the two machines do not
match.
The sub-machine is in
Interrupt mode.
Paper tray settings on the
two machines do not match.
Cover Sheet settings on the
two machines do not match.
Solutions
Follow the instructions displayed. For

If the sub-machine's display indicates
that a cover is open, follow the
instructions displayed.
Press the [User Tools/Counter] to close
the User Tools menu.
Continue copying using the main
machine.
Select the Sort function.
Reprogram the stamp on the sub-
machine.
Make the same settings on both
machines.
Press the [Interrupt] on the sub-machine
to cancel Interrupt mode.
