    After completing the transport activities, remove the lifting eyes (2) again. Installation notes HATZ diesel engines are efficient, robust and have a long service life. There- fore, they are usually installed in machines that are used for commercial pur- poses.

    ▪ After the engine is installed in the machine, rotating parts must be pro- tected against contact. HATZ safety equipment is available for the belt drive of the cooling fan and alternator. ▪ Comply with all notices and warning labels on the engine and keep them in a legible condition.

The interval at which maintenance work should be performed on the fuel fil- ter depends on the cleanliness of the fuel in use and may need to be short- ened to 250 operating hours.
