Taking Close-up Pictures
Use the macro function to shoot subjects at very close distances.When
using the macro function, maintain a distance of about 20 and 80cm (8"
and 31"). Pictures taken outside this range are likely to be out of focus
or poorly exposed.
Minimum distance: approximately 20cm (8")
Telephoto: If you wish to further enlarge the image, push the zoom
lever toward T (telephoto).
Monitor is filled by a 8cm (3") × 6cm (2") subject.
Wide-angle:If you wish to make the image smaller, push the zoom lever
toward W (wide).
Monitor is filled by a 17cm (6") × 22cm (8") subject.

Macro mark

Open the lens barrier.
• The camera turns on in
shooting mode.
Press the monitor button (
• The monitor will illuminate.
Press ( ) on the arrow
pad.
Press on the arrow pad
repeatedly until the macro
mark is displayed on the
monitor.
Confirm the position of the
subject with the monitor and
shoot.
