7 Connect the connectors of the cables
to t h e l e f t a n d r ig h t p o we r u n i t s . To
connect a connector "a", align the white
arrow position "b", push in the connec-
tor, and then turn the ring to secure the
connector.
8 Install the battery.
When a person is sitting in the wheelchair, do not remove or install the wheels. The person
riding in the wheelchair or people around the wheelchair may get injured.
After the power units are installed to the frame, be sure to check that the balls on the end
of each axle can be seen, and that the units will not come off if pulled. If the axles are
not secured, the axles could suddenly come off while the wheelchair is traveling and the
wheelchair could tip over, causing serious injury.

11.2. Anti-tip Device

The anti-tip device of the JWX-1 24" can be folded. The anti-tip device of the JWX-1 16" can
switch the safety wheels to an upward-facing position. Do so when going over bumps with
the assistant operations. Immediately after going over a bump, return the anti-tip device to its
original position.
