WARNING
Before crossing a road, be sure to check to
the left and right for safety.

Do not cross a road if it is dangerous to do so,
such as if an automobile is approaching.
When crossing a road, proceed as close as
possible at a right angle to the road. Do not
cross the road diagonally.
Cross a road at a location where there is a traffic light or crosswalk.
When crossing a street at a crosswalk with no
traffic light, pay sufficient attention to the traf-
fic.
If there is a pedestrian signal light, obey the
signal light. If the signal light is flashing green
Maybe I can still cross ...
or is red, you must not start to cross the road.
If the street is wide, the signal may change
before you finish crossing. In such places,
wait for the next green light to give yourself
enough time to cross the street.
