You can activate the device and set the device password via internet with Batch Configuration Tool, or with iVMS-4200 client software, or with Video Intercom Set-up Tool.
Video Intercom Door Station·Quick Start Guide 5 Remote Operation (Batch Configuration Tool) 5.1 Activating Device Remotely Purpose: The device cannot be operated until it is activated. You can remotely activate the device via Batch Configuration Tool or via iVMS-4200 client. Here take the Batch Configuration Tool as example, and for further information, please refer to the user manual in the disk.

You can add the active online devices within your subnet, add devices by IP address, or add devices by IP segment.

The distance between two devices is recommended to be longer than 10 meters. Devices here refer to indoor station, door station, doorphone and master station.
