1. Introduction

We are very pleased to announce a launch of the Full HD
and High Brightness FWD displays designed as the Slim
Bezel in the public display market. The public display market
is consisted of various applications such as Digital Signage,
Live viewing for Athletic Stadiums, Point Of Information,
Simple viewing for Medical, Multisplit Monitoring for OB
vehicles, Hospitality etc. According to each purpose and
installation condition of these applications, there are various
requirements that are Full HD, High Brightness, Slim Bezel,
Portrait Installation, Network Reporting, Digital Interface, etc.
Sony has the unique GXD display that is a flagship model and
covers tough environments, FWD-LX displays are a standard
and realize the affordable prices, and KLH monitors designed
for entry Digital Signage application.
All the displays as the product line-up cover the broad applications and requirements. However,
strong voice that desires Full HD, Higher Brightness, Slim Bezel for a more sophisticated application
is growing. The 47-inches FWD-S47H and 42-inches FWD-S42H1 displays were planned for
satisfying such severe requirements. We believe their professional value will be recognized and they
will win the public display business thanks to their unique features balanced sophisticatedly.
