9-3.1 Combustion Air Supply
Boiler in room.
No combustion air inlet is required.
Boiler in compartment/small room.
Ventilation air supply is required as shown in fig. 9-3a.

9-3.2 Burner Air Duct
All Floor Standing Boilers are supplied with an adaptor and flexible air duct fitted for
conventional flue connection.
For balanced flue applications, the conventional flue adaptor has to be removed, the air
duct is then reconnected to the balanced flue.
Internal Wall Mounted Boilers are supplied with the flexible air duct ready to connect to a
balanced flue.
Always inspect the condition of the air duct during routine maintenance and replace if it
is not air sealed.
