Write a name for your PDF in the box "Stapelname" (e.g.
"TESTSCAN-01") and press "Enter".
Place the book on the scanner board (straight to the upper border, with the pages to be
scanned facing up) and choose the appropriate size of the document indicated in the
middle of the board B4, B5, A4... (always choose the next larger size).
Enter the corresponding size with the light blue buttons on the left
hand side of the scanner's keyboard (e.g. "B5 quer").
Then press the yellow button "1 Rahmen".
2 Scanning
Press the book gently with your fingers on its left and right side on the board. Start the
scanning process with either the left or the right long button on the board. You have to
press it quite hard.
After the scanning of the first page you have to adjust the green frame on the compu-ter's
screen. Move, enlarge or reduce the frame by clicking on it (it will be red and can be
adjusted). The frame's content is the content of the PDF page!
Attention: only what's inside the frame is scanned and thus saved to the PDF!
After placing and scaling the frame correctly for the first page, it can
be duplicated by pressing the blue button "2 Rahmen".
The active one of the two frames is always red, the other one is green (change their status
by clicking on them).
Placing and scaling one frame ("1 Rahmen") first and then duplicating it by pressing the
"2 Rahmen" button has the advantage that both frames, that is, both sides of the PDF,
will have the same size.
