Vu-Meter – from this page it is possible to select what is visible
to the user on the Output LED meters, by using the PM2 or PM3
encoders. The output's LED meters can show the output signal's
level, the output RMS Compressor's activity or the Output Peak
Limiters' activity.

When the RMS Compressor's activity is selected, the LED meters
will show, from the top down, the activity of the RMS Compressor
Limiter on the output. When the Peak Limiter's activity is selected,
the LED meters will show the activity of the Peak Limiter on the
output.
Edit Memory Function
Once you have exited (ESC) out of parameter editing within an
individual Input or Output channel, the i2600 will remember this
last editing action on that channel. When you return for your next
edit, pressing the EDIT button on that channel will immediately
return you to the screen you were previously editing.
Connecting to Remote PC Software
1. Install the software on the included CD by running "setup.exe".
2. Install the USB driver using the file on the included CD named
"USBdriverForWinX(V20814)_Setup.exe".
3. Connect the i2600 to your computer through the USB
connection. Windows will find the necessary driver.
4. Open the installed i2600 software.
5. Select "Connect To Networks" from the File drop-down menu.
6. If the software doesn't immediately recognize the i2600, you
may need to adjust your COM port settings.
7. To find the COM port used by your i2600, go into the Device
Manager window. To do this, right click the "Computer"
desktop icon and select "Manage". The Device Manager can
be found within this menu. Here, the i2600 should be shown as
an available USB device. If you view it's parameters, the COM
port used should be visible. You can change the COM settings
in the software to match the value found here.
Software Function Menus
The function bar at the top of the i2600 software allows users
to make quick and easy alterations to the operation. The Save
and File buttons allow users to save and recall their settings from
files (through *.D26 files that can be stored permanently on your
computer or on discs). This will save and allow you to immediately
recall all settings.
The Store and Read functions essentially have a similar function,
allowing you to save and recall up to 50 presets on the machine
itself.
The Mode button allows you to switch quickly between dual mono
and stereo operation.
Immediately below these buttons you can find Wizard, Copy IN,
Copy OUT and LOCK buttons.
The Wizard button will, of course, open the previously mentioned
setup Wizard. The Copy IN and OUT buttons will let you
immediately copy the settings from any of the input or output
channels onto another input or output channel. The LOCK button
will immediately lock the software, ensuring no accidental system
alterations are made.

Remote PC Software
RTA Feature
Through the remote PC software, the i2600 can use an RTA
process and environmental analysis to automatically set the 15
band stereo Graphic Equalizer available on the Input path.
Vu-Meter
1.
To proceed, push the "RTA" button on the top left-hand
side of the i2600 desktop software. The system will open
the RTA and Auto Equalization menu.
Note: The RTA cannot be performed if the 7 band
Parametric EQ and Feedback Eliminator are active.
This is due to the fact that the auto equalization function
will perform a 2/3 octave, 15 band analysis, the results
of which will provide settings for the 15-band EQ.
2.
If you have either the parametric EQ or feedback
eliminator active, the software will ask to change them
automatically. Confirm the new setting requested by the
RTA function and the RTA software window will open.
3.
The internal Pink Noise Generator will be set as source
signal for the inputs. The signal passes through the all
processes of the i2600, with the exception of the PEQ
and the Feedback Eliminator.
4.
Within this menu you can access the two Auto EQ
functions. The first is the Mic Level Wizard. After pushing
the Mic Level Wizard button, simply follow the on screen
instructions. For this function, a microphone should be
connected to Input A and the Mic/Line switch set to the
appropriate position.
Note: When performing the RTA, the i2600 also allows
the user to connect an external test signal to input
channel 2.
