If the lines are excessively long, the technician must calculate the pipe diameter required to provide the minimum recommended flow for the particular CTC EcoAir model.

Once every hour, two sensors read off the temperature of the refrigerant, if it is below 2 °C defrosting is started: the fan stops, the four-way valve changes direction and the hot gas flows out to the evaporator instead.
