Tips for your well-being
Do not use the device in the following cases or areas:
• on the front part of the neck (carotid sinus)
• on patients with a pacemaker
• to stimulate the brain region
• in case of pains where the cause is not known
• in case of irritated skin, wounds on the skin or skin infections
• on recent scars
• during pregnancy
• around the eyes or genitals; use on these areas is absolutely prohibited
• in case of metal implants (including the contraceptive coil)
• in areas with reduced sensitivity
• on prosthetic limbs and/or metal dental equipment (for "moustache" treat-
ment)
• on lips; it is absolutely prohibited to position the electrodes on the lips.
• If the patient has any health problems, you may not use the device without
prior consultation with the doctor.
• The treatment should not be painful. If you feel pain or feel the application
unpleasant, stop it and consult your doctor.
• The skin may not be damaged in any way (skin should not be shaved before
the first treatment, in order to prevent any micro-cuts caused by the razor).
• The use of deodorant or perfume is not permitted until 24 hours after
epilating.
Always observe the following points
• Only use the device in accordance with its intended use according to the
operating instructions.
• The warranty will be invalidated if the device is used for purposes other than
those for which it is intended.
• The device may only be used in conjunction with the accessories (electrodes,
cable) recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not use the device if it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped
or has fallen into water or has been damaged.
• Do not operate the device in the vicinity of high-frequency transmitters,
e.g. microwave and short wave transmitters or radio transmitters. They may
impair the device's ability to function.
• Make sure that the user is not in contact with metal objects (e.g. chair or
seat).
• Protect the device against damp. If, nonetheless, liquid does enter the
device, the batteries must be removed immediately and further use avoided.
Please contact your service centre in this case.
• Do not use the device whilst taking a bath or a shower.
• The device may not be used whilst driving a car or whilst operating and
controlling machinery.
