Before Use

Mounting the Loop Handle

Loosen the knob 17 and adjust the loop to the desired

Dust/Chip Vacuuming
Dust produced while working can be detrimental to

health, inflammable or explosive. Suitable protec-
tion measures are required.
Examples: Some dusts are considered to be carci-
nogenic. Use suitable dust/chip extraction and
wear a dust protection mask.
Hook on the channel for dust extraction 6 at the rear
under the handle and latch onto the catches 8. Insert
the vacuum hose (35 mm dia.) directly into the cou-
pling of the channel (Fig.
K
).
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for the material
to be worked.
When vacuuming dry dust that is especially detrimen-
tal to health or carcinogenic, use a special vacuum
cleaner.

Switching On/Off
Switching on:
Press the switch-on lock 4 to the left or right and hold,
then press the on-off switch 5.

Switching off:
Release the on-off switch 5.
Lay the machine down only after the saw blades have
come to a standstill.
After switching off, do not brake the saw blade to a
stop by applying side pressure.
Regulating the Stroke Rate
The stroke rate can be continuously adjusted with the
stroke rate regulator 3.

Do not drill, fasten or cut into blind areas
where electric, gas or water lines may exist.
Use appropriate detectors to determine if
these lines are hidden in the work area or call
the local utility company for assistance.
Contacting electric lines may cause fire or electric
shock. Striking a gas line will probably result in ex-
plosion. Breaking into a water pipe will cause prop-
erty damage or may cause an electric shock.
When switching on, the saw blades must not
be resting against, come in contact with or
strike anything!
