Playing a tape

The system can play three types of tapes: Type I
(normal), Type II (CrO ) and Type IV (metal).

The system automatically detects the tape type so
there is no need to specify it.
To turn on the system, press ?/1.

Press TAPE EJECT Z and insert a
recorded tape into the cassette holder.
With the side you want to
play facing towards you

Press TAPE.
"TAPE" appears.

Press DIR MODE on the remote
repeatedly to select " " to play one
side of the tape, "
sides, or " "* to play both sides
repeatedly.
* The tape automatically stops after playing
back five times.

Press TAPE nN.
The tape starts playing.
To change the playback direction, press
TAPE nN again. The reverse side will
begin playing.
