Proper use of the appliance is however essential to avoid damage and acci dents. Please therefore follow the precautions given in these operating instructions.     Programme overview To select the right drying programme, follow the fabric care symbols on gar- ment labels, e. g. The programme duration and energy consumption data are for a 6 kg wash load spun at around 1000 rpm (corresponding to a residual moisture level of about 60 %). A higher spinning speed and a smaller load reduce them by about 20–30 %.

    User settings You can change certain appliance settings to suit your own preferences. Settings can be changed irrespective of whether the appliance door is open or closed, provided no drying programme is running. The procedure is generally the same for all settings.
