  • Page 3 – Das Ohrthermometer darf von Kindern nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen benutzt werden. In der Regel ist eine Mes- sung ab einem Lebensalter von 6 Monaten möglich. Bei Kleinkindern unter 6 Mona ten ist der Gehörgang noch sehr eng, sodass häufi g die Temperatur des Trommelfells nicht erfasst werden kann und vermehrt zu niedrige Messergebnisse angezeigt werden.
  • Page 4 Je nach Körperstelle, an welcher gemessen wird, schwankt der Temperaturwert. Die Abweichung kann bei Gesunden an unterschiedlichen Körperstellen zwischen 0,2 °C bis 1 °C liegen.   • Page 5 Hinweis Die Temperaturmessung liefert einen Messwert, der Auskunft über die aktuelle Körpertemperatur eines Menschen gibt. Sollten Sie sich unsicher sein in der Interpretation der Ergebnisse oder treten abnormale Werte (z.B. Fieber) auf, sollten Sie sich an Ihren Hausarzt wenden. Dies gilt auch bei geringen Temperaturveränderungen, wenn weitere Krankheitssym- ptome hinzutreten, wie z.B.

Zudem leuchtet der Smiley entsprechend dem Messergebnis auf: zeigt an, dass die Körpertem- peratur im normalen Bereich liegt, leuchtet dagegen bei einem Messwert ab 38 °C, d.h. Fieberalarm.     5. Operation This thermometer is designed for use in the ear (ear passage / eardrum) usually for persons aged over 6 months. In children under 6 months, the ear passage is still very narrow so that the temperature of the eardrum can often not be recorded and and the measurement result displayed is too low.

    Used batteries should not go into domestic refuse. You are legally obliged to dispose of the batteries cor- rectly. Dispose of them through your electrical dealer or local recycling centre.     5. Puesta en operación Este termómetro está diseñado para su empleo en el oído (canal auditivo / tímpano), en principio a partir de los 6 meses de edad. En niños de menos de 6 meses, el canal auditivo es aún muy estrecho, por lo que a menudo no puede captarse la temperatura del tímpano, lo que hace que a menudo se indiquen resultados más bajos de los reales.
