To join a wireless network:
1. Tap the wireless-network icon in the Windows notification area. A list of available wireless networks is
displayed.
Note: If the Airplane mode control is on, or the Wi-Fi control or Mobile broadband control is off, the
list might not be displayed. Tap the corresponding control to display the list.
2. Tap a network to join it. For secured networks, enter the valid password when prompted.
To replace or install a nano-SIM card:

Connecting to a wired network

You might need to use a wired network connection through an Ethernet cable when downloading large files.
Depending on the model, your tablet might come with a ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter. Use this
adapter to connect your tablet to a wired network. You can also purchase it from:
http://www.lenovo.com/essentials
To connect to a wired network:
1. Connect the ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter to the USB 3.0 connector on your tablet.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable into the ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter.
3. Tap the wired network icon in the Windows notification area, and enter the user name and password
if needed.

Charging the tablet

Check the battery-status icon in the Windows notification area and charge the battery if the battery power
remaining is low.

The nano-SIM card slot is behind the kickstand. Before you start,
turn off the tablet.
1. Push the nano-SIM card inward a little until you hear a click. The
nano-SIM card ejects. Gently slide the card out of the slot.
Note: If no nano-SIM card is installed in the slot, skip this step.
2. Install a new nano-SIM card into the slot with the metal contacts
facing upward. Ensure that the new nano-SIM card is installed
in correct orientation.
