    ThinkPad X1 Tablet Thin Keyboard Gen 2 overview Pogo cover with guide pins: The pogo cover with guide pins enables you to attach the keyboard to your computer magnetically. ® TrackPoint pointing device: The TrackPoint pointing device enables you to perform all the functions of a traditional mouse, such as pointing, clicking, and scrolling.

    Using the Thin Keyboard With the Thin Keyboard attached to your computer, you can use the Thin Keyboard in the following modes. Lay-flat mode Keep the Thin Keyboard laid flat on the table surface as shown. With a feature-expansion module attached With the Base Module attached Tilt mode Fold the living hinge as shown.

Note: Middle mode is applicable only when a feature-expansion module is attached. Cover mode Close the Thin Keyboard as shown to put the computer into sleep mode and protect the touch screen.

    Your Thin Keyboard has several special keys to help you work more easily and effectively. Press a special key to control the associated function. ThinkPad X1 Tablet Thin Keyboard • Switch the key function between the standard F1–F12 function and the special function printed as an icon on each key.

    Using the ThinkPad X1 Tablet Thin Keyboard Gen 2 pen holder to store the pen The ThinkPad X1 Tablet Thin Keyboard Gen 2 has a pen holder affixed on the right side. You can insert the pen into the pen holder horizontally.

Emergency-reset hole If your dock stops responding, hold down the power button for several seconds to turn off the dock. If the dock still cannot be turned off, remove the ac power adapter first.
