Cleaning and maintenance

The saw can be cleaned by wiping its exterior parts
with a damp cloth. Ensure the ventilation slots are
kept free of dust and dirt.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, as
they may attack the plastic parts of the saw.
Always make sure the chain guide on the blade is
free of sawdust and bark splinters to ensure correct
lubrication. Use compressed air to keep the guide
clear. Remove the chain to clean the guide if it
cannot be cleaned satisfactorily with the chain on.
Sharpen the teeth using a chainsaw file or grinder.
Be very careful when sharpening the teeth! Replace
the chain when the teeth are worn down to the
mark.
