Speed dialling a phone number

Before you can use speed dialling, assign a phone number to one of the speed-dialling keys, from

, see Speed dials on page 90. Call the number in either of the following ways:
• Press the speed-dialling key that you want and then press
• If
Speed dialling
is set to on, press and hold a speed-dialling key until the call is started. See Call
settings on page 100.

Answering or rejecting an incoming call

Press
to answer an incoming call and press
Press
to reject an incoming call.
If you press Silence, only the ringing tone is muted. Then either answer or reject the call.
If a compatible headset supplied with the headset key is connected to the phone, you can answer and
end a call by pressing the key.
Tip: If the
Divert if busy
mailbox, rejecting an incoming call will also divert the call. See Call settings on page 100.
Note that when somebody is calling you, the phone shows the caller's name, phone number or the text
Private number
or Call. If more than one name is found in
the phone number as the caller's number, only the phone number will be displayed, if this is available.
The phone may display an incorrect name, if the caller's number is not saved in
another name saved with the same last eight digits in the phone number as in the phone number of the
caller.
