Security

Memory
and the phone will request the security code when the SIM card's memory is
selected and you want to change the memory in use (see Selecting settings for contacts on page
81) or copy from one memory to another (Copying contacts on page 89).
Access codes
to change the security code, PIN code, PIN2 code or barring password. Codes can only
include numbers from 0 to 9.

Restore factory settings

To reset some of the menu settings to their original values, press Menu, and select
Restore factory
settings. Key in the security code and press OK. Note that the data that you have keyed
in or downloaded, for example, the names and phone numbers saved in contacts are not deleted.

Operator menu

This menu lets you access a portal to services provided by your network operator. This menu is operator
specific. The name and the icon depend on the operator. For more information, contact your network
operator.
The operator can update this menu with a service message. For more information, refer to Service
inbox on page 136.
