3. Call functions

■ Making a call

1. Key in the phone number, including the area code. If you key in an
incorrect character, press
For international calls, press
(the + character replaces the international access code) and then key
in the country code, the area code without the leading 0, if
necessary, and the phone number.
2. Press
to call the number.

to end the call or to cancel the call attempt.
Making a call using the contacts
To search for a name or phone number that you have saved in Contacts,
see Searching for a contact on page 54. Press
Last number redialling
In standby mode, press
you last called or attempted to call. Scroll to the number or name that
you want, and press
Calling your voice mailbox
In standby mode, press and hold
If the phone asks for the voice mailbox number, key it in and press OK.

Speed dialling a phone number

Assign a phone number to one of the speed-dialling keys, from
, see Speed dials on page 60. Call the number in either of the
following ways:
• Press the speed-dialling key that you want and then press
