8.14. SERVICE 12: FM Recording
Check
Performs "FM radio reception, repeats the "SD-card formatting,
full recording (recording until card´s capacity is completely
used), and playback" procedure, and checks for FM recording
errors.
1. Execute the "8.3 SERVICE 1: EL Display Mode Switching"
procedure so that EL is always ON.
2. Execute menus up to 6 as described in section 8.2
(Entering The Service Mode).
3. Remove the service mode SD-card from the audio player.
Note: The SD-card will be formatted at the SERVICE 12
menu. Therefore, be sure to remove the service mode
SD-card from the audio player.
4. Insert the recording check SD-card into the audio player.
5. Execute the SERVICE 12 menu as described in section 1.2
(Entering The Service Mode).
· The reception frequency selection screen (Fig.S16)
displays.
6. Select the reception frequency.
FWD-Skip
Tuning UP
REW-Skip
Tuning DOWN
7. Press the [Play/Stop] button to begin FM recording.
· The FM recording error check screen (recording time:
Fig.S17, playback time: Fig.S18) displays, then the
"repeated SD-card formatting, full recording (recording
until card´s capacity is completely used), and playback"
procedure begins.
· The repeat count displays onscreen.
8. The above procedure is repeated until a recording error
occurs. Therefore, if no recording error has occurred after
approximately 2 repeats, open the battery cover to end the
procedure.
* If a recording error occurs, recording is stopped, and an error
code (recording time: Fig.S19, playback time: Fig.S20) displays
onscreen.
