Questions and answers
Should this water heater be bypassed when I sanitize the water system?
No, the Girard Products GSWH-2 water heater should not be bypassed. The very small amount of water in the heat exchanger does not require a bypass, and bypassing is not recommended.

Hello, This is my first winter with your tankless water heater, I switched from a Truma AquaGo. I was warned that it wouldn't work as well in the winter for the shower which is fine and I have noticed the difference. The water running from the shower will run max 97-101F. Lately though, I have noticed it won't work for all my faucets and was curious if that is something I can fix? Today, the water heater kicks on when running the shower and sometimes the bathroom faucet. It does not kick on at all for the kitchen faucet. This can vary though, sometimes the bathroom faucet won't get warm and the kitchen will. Any troubleshooting ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
To troubleshoot and improve water temperature and performance for all faucets on the Girard Products GSWH-2 tankless water heater, follow these steps:
1. Check Electrical Supply: Ensure a stable power supply of 11.5 volts on a 10-amp fused line to the water heater.
2. Verify Gas Pressure: Confirm that the gas pressure to the water heater is between 11 to 12 WCI, with half of the LP appliances running.
3. Optimize Water Control Valve: If the inlet water temperature is extremely cold (below 45°F), adjust the water control valve as needed for better performance.
4. Adjust Hot Water Flow: Fine-tune the hot water flow at the faucet for optimal temperature output.
5. Inspect Installation: Verify that the mounting holes in the door flange align with those in the water heater housing. Secure the door flange to the housing using pop rivets if necessary.
6. Perform Functional Tests: Follow the functional tests outlined in the manual to ensure proper operation after troubleshooting.
These steps should help achieve and maintain the desired hot water temperature effectively.

I have set my temperature to 102. It does not stop there but goes to a much hotter temperature and I have to feed in cold water, which causes the to go up and down between hot and cold. It did not do this when I first got it. I have turned it off and on both inside and outside in an effort to reset but to no avail. Any Ideas?
. My 10 amp fuse blows as soon as I turn on the water heater. I checked with the voltage meter I have 12.71 is that too much power and how do I reduce it to 11.5 and do you think that is the reason that’s blowing?
