2.7 Plastic (PPs) balanced flue system for routing through a lightweight shaft

A space saving shaft for reduced temperature requirements may be
retrofitted if no shaft is available and the Vitodens is installed in the
living space with one or more full storeys above.

Subtract additional bends, tees and straight lengths from the maximum

■ Balanced flue bend 87º: 1 m
■ Balanced flue inspection tee: 1.5 m
The shaft used must comply with the requirements for domestic chim-
neys to DIN V 18160-1 or must be generally approved by the building
inspectorate [Germany].
