h POWER indicator (green)
When the power is supplied to the
camera, the camera starts checking the
system. If the system is normal, this
indicator lights up.
i Camera installation holes
Install the camera onto the ceiling or
wall with the supplied screws inserted
through these holes.
j MON (MONITOR OUT)
connector
Connect the supplied monitor cable to
this connector. You can adjust the
camera while looking at the image on
the monitor. After adjusting the
camera, disconnect the cable.
k Reset switch
To reset the camera to the factory default
settings, hold down this switch and
supply the power to the camera.
l LED ON/OFF switch
Set this switch to ON when you want to
light up the POWER indicator and the
NETWORK indicator.

Connect to a hub or computer on the
10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX network
using a network cable (UTP, category
5).
Caution
When using a LAN cable: For safety, do
not connect to the connector for
peripheral device wiring that might have
excessive voltage.
n I/O (Input/Output) port
This port is provided with a sensor input
and two alarm outputs.
The sensor input is used as the alarm
input. The camera operation can be
synchronized with E-mail or other
applications.
The alarm output is used to control
connected peripheral devices by
synchronizing with an external sensor
input, the built-in activity detection
function, a manual trigger button, or the
timer function.

required settings, see the User's Guide
stored in the supplied CD-ROM.

Assignment and Use of I/O Port" on
page 22.
